Early in the morning

What’s your favorite time of day?

I am an early person almost to a fault .. if I sleep until 5 a.m I feel completely behind in life.

I like to arrive at the gym by 5 a.m my best workouts happen that early. The gym is pretty empty and it’s easy to focus and workout uninterrupted.

Then my dog gets her daily walk.

After all of that I’m ready to tackle my day with a clear mind and a smile on my face .

A visit from My Daughter

Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

Living 1200 miles apart means our time spent together is complete happiness.

This visit we had so much to celebrate. She recently graduated Collage and it was her Golden Birthday 🥳

After celebrating her with our family our time spent together went back to the days of family dinner, family game night and etc.

Nothing feels better than all of your kids in the same space at the same time laughing and making memories together.

My dog and her two dogs were also happy to be reunited

I am thankful for everyday she was home and looking forward to our next visit.

Running

What brings you peace?

A good run clears my head and helps me destress .

I always say I can solve all of the problems in the world while I’m running 😂

In reality there is something so soothing, calming , and peaceful in a nice long run.

Healthcare Professionals

What profession do you admire most and why?

Healthcare Professionals keep us going.

From the sniffles to major health problems each and every Healthcare worker plays a special role in our health.

Secondary to keeping us healthy even after the long hours they work they deal with a lot.

Emotions run high in emergency situations. You have the thankful kind people and you have the angry and spiteful people .

No matter which role they play without remaining healthy it would be hard for anyone else to fulfill their job position.

Realistic Women’s Clothing

If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?

Weight is just a number while clothing is a necessity.

Women’s clothing has dramatically changed. Does anyone actually know what size they wear?

Now I’m stuck looking for a shirt that covers my stomach, and jeans tailored to my body type.

How nice would it be to go shopping and find clothing that hugs your curves or lack of curves?

Believe me I’ve been every size. You can add another 80 plus lbs to the pictures you see in my blog and I’ve always struggled in this area of my life. I have a weird body shape.

We are Women all of our bodies are a different shape, size and I would love to see Women smile because they own clothing that fits and makes them feel good.

Self care

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

Starting off on my health and well being it starts with my yearly labs. For me it’s a work up of everything since I have Thyroid Disease every part of my labs are important.

If anything is off with my labs changes start there.

Now putting lab work aside I am a very active person. I usually arrive to the gym between 4-5 a.m I enjoy my workout go home walk my dog and then start my day. That always starts my day off on a positive note.

For accountability I’m probably like most I do have a watch that calculates my workout time, calories burned , stand hours, and yes my step count. Some days I don’t hit every goal I have set on that watch but that’s okay.

I would like to say as hard as I work out I’m some health food nut but being honest my diet isn’t anything that qualifies as healthy right now.

Electronics

What would you change about modern society?

For just one weekend I would love to for teenagers to see what life is like without cell phones.

Bring it back to our teenage days of actually living life with no proof of what we did.

Cell phones are actually something I’m thankful for that I didn’t grow up with .

Living in the moment is something kids these days will never understand.
