Teenager tested Mother approved !
As a boy Mom choosing a new frame when upgrading the Matress size is pretty stressful.
Probably kinda obvious I was purchasing this for a teen boy. Love boys but they are a little rough on furniture.
So I took a shot and choose this one by KD Frames I read the reviews loved that we could change the color if we wanted plus all of the accessories we could add and that we didn’t need a new box spring too.
Now I’ve had it for a long time and I’m excited to have the opportunity to recommend it to others.
This frame is just like new all of these years later. It survived the teen years 🎉 that alone deserves a celebration. I love it’s made with real wood and in the USA.
This frame also fits a trundle underneath we had one for awhile for sleepovers if you take a look at their site you will see all of the extras.

If it survived teen boy destruction mode, it’s basically indestructible. That’s like furniture boot camp right there.
Love that it’s real wood, made in USA, AND fits a trundle for sleepovers. Sounds like you found the holy grail of teen bedroom furniture.
I’ve made my own pallet bed before – definitely appreciate quality construction when you see how much work goes into building something sturdy!
Your son probably went from “whatever Mom” to actually appreciating having a bed that doesn’t wobble every time he flops on it!

🤣 I’ve wanted to write the company personally and thank them . Boys are rough on furniture and this would be the only piece that made it through the teen years.
I love my son and I giggle that everything has been taken apart or mysteriously has fallen apart throughout the years . But this platform bed stood up to the test of time . Rest in peace to everything else.
I love that you made a pallet bed I bet that looks so neat on top of being sturdy . I’ve always wanted to create something neat out of pallets.

Boy will definitely keep you on your toes.. I love my room it’s my sanctuary and the pallet bed pulls it all together my zen place. I wish I could share a photo. Ha
